Staff exchange between UKBA & IIT
At the start of 2024, two of Comenius University in Bratislava (UKBA) PhD students, Števo and Iveta, were part of a four-week staff exchange at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). This staff exchange was a perfect opportunity for them to gain deeper insight into the world of robotics with the humanoid robot iCub.

Staff exchange under the TERAIS project
TERAIS project is built upon the collaboration between three partners. Visiting other partners’ labs is one of the best ways to foster networking and, as a consequence, research. With this aim, three researchers from the Italian Institute of Technology – Matilde, Lorenzo, and Carlo - visited the new Nico lab at Comenius University for one month, between October and November.

The Trustworthy Human-Robot Interaction Summer School or THRISS will take place on 10–13 June 2024 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. It welcomes participants from different backgrounds to meet for four days and deepen their knowledge in the interdisciplinary fields of Cognitive Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction.

Explainability and Robot Learning Seminar
